COVID-19 POLICY & GUIDELINES

ILLfest is actively monitoring COVID-19 in the local community alongside community partners and under the guidance of local health officials. At this time, we are not requiring guests to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative test result.

Alongside these measures, strongly encourage all individuals to wear a mask when social distancing is not possible regardless of vaccination or test status. If you are a high-risk individual it is recommended you do not attend any gathering with people outside of your household.

To read more about City of Austin guidelines please visit https://www.austintexas.gov/page/covid-19-risk-based-guidelines.

We suggest that all guests get vaccinated before the event as it is the best way to protect yourself and others. To find more information on the Covid-19 vaccines and where to get them please visit https://www.austintexas.gov/covid19-vaccines.

Remember to always be respectful of others personal space by giving each other distance when necessary and/or capable.

Health and Safety Guidelines

  • In the case of an emergency, please contact the nearest staff member for help. There are medics onsite who are fully equipped to deal with all situations. Our staff is here to assist you!

  • The festival is partially outdoors. Please come prepared for any weather. This includes comfortable shoes for walking and dancing, and any necessary layers (keep an eye on the weather report when we get to the week of the show).

  • Note the location of exits, information points, first aid areas, and water refill stations when our site map is released.

  • Please cooperate with staff, security, and police. They are there to help make sure that everyone has a good time.

  • Please drink alcohol responsibly, which includes planning for a sober ride home- DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE.

  • Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water and electrolytes.

  • While there will be security onsite, ILLfest is not responsible for lost or stolen items. The best rule of thumb is to only bring the essentials with you.

  • Due to circumstances outside of our control, charging lockers will not be available this year at ILLfest. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Water Stations & Policies

ILLfest will have ample free water refilling stations onsite, as well as refillable water bottles available for purchase at our merchandise booth. Bars and food vendors will also be selling single-use water bottles, which you can recycle in our marked recycling areas.

You are allowed and encouraged to bring your own water bottle or refillable hydration packs, but they must be empty. Event security will ask you to pour out any contents upon entry.

Community Policy

A note on headdresses and threatening messages: ILLfest is committed to a safe and inclusive event for its attendees. All guests and working members need to feel safe, comfortable and welcome.

In this spirit, ILLfest requests that American Indian headdresses be left at home. Out of respect for the community, it is inappropriate to wear headdresses outside of traditional ceremonies.

Additionally, while ILLfest supports diversity in signs, totems, and articles of clothing, words or images that threaten to harm others are not welcome at ILLfest.

ILLfest reserves the right to confiscate items deemed to be in violation of these policies at its discretion.

As a team, we look forward to our vibrant and creative ILLfam honoring these requests. Thank you for working alongside our safety teams, workers and ILLfest family to make event choices that support our inclusive mission.

  • All wristbands will be picked up on-site at the ticketing box office this year.
  • An additional email will be sent out by August 27th, 2022 with your ticket QR codes that will be scanned on-site to deliver any items you purchased online, including wristbands, merchandise, parking, afterparties, and more.

Until August 27th, ticket purchasers should have only their booking confirmation email in their inbox. This does not include a scannable QR code.

To find your booking confirmation email:

  • Valid September 2022 tickets purchased through the ILLfest website encompass one ticket provider: Easol.
  • Please manually search “Easol” or “ILLfest” in your inbox to pull up your confirmation order.

If you cannot find your confirmation email & it is not coming up when you manually search “Easol” or “ILLfest” in your inbox and spam folders, email us at info@illfest.com with the name you used on the order and the email address(es) you may have used with the account. These steps are crucial in helping our team locate your order and answers to you sooner!

If you need to access your Easol ticketing account, you can do so via the following steps:

  1. Log into https://myeasol.com/log-in with your email and password. If you do not remember your password, re-set it to get in
  2. To update Email/Name/Change Password: Your Account (top right corner) > Account
  3. To update Payment/Billing Information: Your Account (top right corner) > Bookings > Change Card

In order to change the Email Address Associated with your Easol Ticketing Account, please reach out to support@easol.com with the following information:

  • The Name associated with the order
  • The Reference ID associated with the order

To Transfer an Easol Ticket to Another Guest:

  • If you choose to sell your ticket to another seller, group info@illfest.com, the buyer and yourself into a joint email.

  • Provide a personal statement acknowledging the ticket sale to the buyer and your approval of the ticket transfer.

  • The buyer will also need to create an Easol account ( https://myeasol.com/sign-up ) before our team initiates a ticket transfer.

  • IMPORTANT TO NOTE: You can only transfer the full order (all tickets, upgrades and purchases) associated with the account, not singular items.

  • It is the responsibility of yourself and the buyer to independently figure out ticket payment.

  • If the payment plan is still active before resale, both parties will be able to see the current name on the order, email, card type and
last 4 numbers of the current holders card.

  • We recommend individuals pay off their ticket in full before reselling to help make securing payment a much smoother process
